Linear Equations, Graphs and Modelling

During the Maths Methods 1/2 orientation program we discussed the meaning of the general equation of a straight line (linear relationship), ie y=mx+c. You now know how to understand this equation and how it relates to sketching the graph. Also we discussed how the equation can be derived very easily from the graph using this general equation. Now you are an expert (well after some more practice anyway). 🙂

What we didn’t discuss though is what is considered below. The movies that follow will help you understand they way in which you should approach a worded problem.
