Maths Methods Unit 1- Support Video for Ex 1.4

What happens when the rule connecting two variables x and y, (or whatever letters you might like to use), is not linear? How do you graph a parabola? In the general equation of a parabola y = a(x+h)^2 +k, what effect do “a”, “h” and “k” have on the graph? What do dilation, reflection and translation mean with respect to graphs? What do graphs with powers of x >2 look like? Below is a support video is in two parts labelled Part 1 and 2, which has now been posted on teachertube.
